What we store
- A random player idCreated the first time you play the Daily or Haepi's Journey, so your scores, light and cards belong to you. It is not linked to your name, phone or computer.
- Your fan name and colorOnly if you make an account. It is shown on the leaderboards of the Daily and Haepi's Journey.
- Your Daily resultsYour answers, points, light and the cards you earned, so we can score the quiz fairly and keep your seat.
- Your Haepi's Journey runsFor every run: the mode, when it started and ended, your score, lights, perfect waves and bonuses. Used for the arcade board and to leave out scores that are not possible.
- Your Haepi's Journey skins and recordsWhich skins you unlocked and your best results (level, score, combo, perfect waves, time without a hit). Kept with your seat, so they come back on another device once you have an account.
- Your setlistOnly if you make an account: the ten songs you picked and their order, plus up to five encore songs. Private unless you switch on "Show my setlist on my seat"; then other fans can see it with your fan name.
- Songs you addA song you add to the list waits for review. Once approved it can be picked by everyone, without your name.
- Your vote in the theme pollOnly if you make an account: which option you picked this month, so you can change it until the month ends. Never shown to anyone; the site only shows the totals, and only to fans who voted.
- Your theme ideasIdeas you send for a future theme. Only the editors read them; they are never shown on the site.
- Your e-mail addressOnly if you make an account. Used only to send you a sign-in code, so you can play on another device. Never shown, never shared, no newsletters.
We do not store your real name, a password or a profile of you, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
You can play as a guest without giving us anything. An account (a fan name and your e-mail) is only needed for the leaderboards and to play on more than one device. Under 16? Ask a parent before you make an account.
Where it is kept
Game data is stored with Supabase, in a data centre in the European Union (Ireland). Sign-in e-mails are sent through Resend, also from the EU (Ireland); they only see your e-mail address and the message itself. Your browser also keeps a few things on your own device: your chosen light, theme, fan name and a copy of your stats, so pages load fast. Our web host, database and e-mail providers keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to protect the site against abuse.
How long
As long as you keep playing. A player that has not been active for 12 months is deleted, with everything that belongs to it.
Delete or see your data
On Your seat (tap your seat in the top right), "Delete my seat" removes your player id with everything that belongs to it, straight away and on every device: your fan name, Daily results and cards, Haepi's Journey runs, skins and records, your setlist and songs still waiting for review, your poll votes and theme ideas, and your e-mail address if you made an account. Songs of yours that were already approved stay in the list, without your name. It also clears this site's data in your browser. This cannot be undone.
To see what we hold, or if you cannot use the button, mail info@kpop-fandom.com with your fan name. With an account you can also just sign out on a device from the Daily page. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the copy on your device.
